Fall is a great time to bake. It’s the perfect time to bake, actually, because it’s finally cooling off outside, and you might actually want to put yourself in an oven-warmed kitchen.
Oh, unless your oven is throwing sparks all over your food instead of cooking it.
And fall is a wonderful time to put the summer fruity desserts behind you and dive face-first into something chocolate or spicy or made with squash. It’s a wonderful time to break out the cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
Unless the heating element in your oven BROKE IN HALF.

Just try to pace yourself… you don’t want your oven to blow.
