Condensed Milk Limeade
A creamy and refreshing citrus drink.
Servings: 4 large glasses
- 4 limes
- 1/2 lemon
- 4 -5 cups water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons condensed milk
Wash limes and lemon and rinse thoroughly before using. Remove ends from limes and lemon, and cut into eighths. (Leave skins on!)
Place lime and lemon pieces in a blender with water and sugar. If using a high-power blender such as a Blendtec, Vitamix, or Ninja, pulse the mixutre 6-7 times. If using a regular blender, a longer blending time may be needed.
Pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, and discard the pieces left in the sieve.
Add condensed milk, and use a wooden spoon to stir until well-combined.
Refrigerate, and serve chilled.
Try to choose limes with thin skins.
If desired, you can use more lemons instead of limes.
