Macadamia Crusted Chocolate Cookies
Chocolate cookies rolled in crushed macadamia nuts.
Servings: 4 dozen
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups flour
- 4-5 ounces macadamia nuts, chopped
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add salt, soda, and cocoa, and mix well. Add flour and mix until combined.
Place chopped nuts in a small dish. Roll dough into balls and dip the tops in the chopped nuts. Place nut-side up on a baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 8-9 minutes.
