Even with the 100-ish cookie recipes on this site, good old-fashioned packaged Oreos are still Robb’s favorite. I bought a package of plain original Oreos, and used half the package on this yummy Oreo White Chocolate Popcorn, and left the other half of the package for Robb to eat plain.
Since the neighbor and long time friend of the Hippie Chick was having a birthday, we wanted to celebrate with something, well… fun. And, obviously it’s more fun if it has the word “fun” in it. Or if it has Oreos. And so I used both.
I mean, it’s soft, it’s minty, it’s got chopped chocolate mint cookies in it, the entire batch disappeared in less than 24 hours… it’s basically the same old wonderful, delicious story.
There’s something weird about cookies with cookies in them.
Only when you think about, though. When you taste the cookies with cookies in them, it doesn’t seem weird at all.
