I remember when Robb and I were first married, about 500 years ago, and I discovered that he knew how to make pie crust. I had this idea in my head that pie crust was super complicated and fussy and hard to make, so I was impressed. I liked it when he would make coconut cream pie with his homemade crust. He would slice up the pieces of leftover crust and sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar and bake them up. It felt really comforting.
