Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

A recipe for garbanzo beans, coated in spices and roasted.

  • 1 15-oz. can garbanzo beans (also called chickpeas)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. cumin
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1½ tsp. olive oil
  1. Drain and rinse garbanzo beans. Lay on paper towels and pat dry. Set aside.
  2. In small bowl, combine spices and oil.
  3. Add beans to spice bowl and toss to coat.
  4. Place on baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes, stirring once after about 20 minutes.
