Robb thinks I talk to much. Because, as a point of fact, I do. I’m giving myself and everyone else a break today, and bringing you a post completely devoid of words. The photos in this post tell the whole story.
Have you ever made cookies in the waffle iron? Granted, you can only make 4 cookies at a time, but they cook quickly, and you don’t have to heat up your oven. And the kids think it’s such a novelty to eat cookies that look like waffles. What can I say? I aim to please.
This simple chocolate pudding is a recipe I learned from Robb’s family. He loves foods that are basic, simple, uncomplicated. This pudding is one of his favorites, and we eat it pretty regularly. Chocolate pudding tastes just like love.
If anyone asks, that’s why they’re round. Because they look cool. Sleek. Stylish. It’s the next thing in blondies. I’m a trendsetter, y’all.
I have no patience for complicated recipes and doing dishes and stuff like that. Give me something I can whip together in 5 minutes in one bowl and satisfy my cravings. Otherwise, I’m left to raiding the cupboards, searching for leftover Easter candy.
I was actually worried the family would devour it before I had a chance to photograph it, because I left the house for several hours, while the Hippie Chick and I attended a bridal shower. You never know what will happen to those unattended treats in a houseful of boys.
And, being teenage boys that are constantly hungry, the kids decided to kill two birds with one stone. They would spend time in the kitchen baking treats. And then they would eat them. I threw them a bag of strawberry flavored marshmallows and a box of Rice Krispies, and put them to work. Having older kids is sooo great.
