Easter Recipe Round-Up

By Easter, I am so ready to be outside.  It has a tendency to be very cold and gloomy here in the winter, and I’m just one of those people that craves sunlight.  Of course, it’s not unusual for us to have snow for Easter, but this week has been very sunny, so I have high hopes.  I’ve put together a collection of some favorite recipes that would be perfect for your Easter celebration!

Wherever you live, I hope you have perfect weather for an Easter egg hunt!

Easter Snack Nests – pretzels and rice krispies coated in chocolate and peanut butter, and dotted with Easter candy.  They would look adorable in an Easter basket!

Carrot Cookies – Bunnies eat carrots, you eat carrots… only your carrots are cookies with cream cheese frosting!

Lemon Crinkles – One of my most popular new recipes.  The lemon flavor is amazing, and the texture is perfect!

White Chocolate Brownies – The original recipe I saw called for a heavy layer of chocolate chips on the top, but they would be cute and tasty with a layer of pastel colored M&M’s or other Easter candy!

Forgive me, Jen, but I can’t remember where in the world you are. Either way, snow seems pretty weird to wake up to in April but low and behold, I woke up to it too this morning (in the UK). It’s all gone now but even though it was forecast, we don’t normally get it in Nottingham (home of Robin Hood, hehe).

Fantastic recipe round up. The snack nests and the lemon crinkles look great.

What can I say, we have strange weather here in Utah. There are a lot of jokes about using the heater and the air conditioner on the same day, which isn’t exactly a joke. I’ve done it many times! Spring is notoriously unpredictable! Thanks for the nice compliment!
